Living a healthy lifestyle is more than just working out. It consists of eating healthy, working out your body as well as better proper rest and recovery. We will eventually go over all of these in greater detail, but let's get a general idea of all these parts.
Eating healthy is not only the hardest but the most important of all the aspects of living a healthy life. You should be eating 5-7 healthy sized meals a day, while getting a healthy mixture or fats, proteins, and well as carbs. Eating healthy is a choice you have to commit yourself to. One thing that really helped me out is an app called "Calorie Count". It helps you look at your diet and analyze your choices. It is a great way to get you nutrition in check.
Working out is the easiest of these steps. You are only working out for 1 to 2 hours at the most a day. That leaves 22-23 hours a day you are not in the gym. There are many different ways to work out, including weights, yoga, aerobics, and the lists go on and on. Commit yourselves to hitting 4-5 good intense workouts a week for 1-2 hours. This is a simple step in your journey to a healthy lifestyle.
The last stage of your healthy lifestyle is rest and recovery. You've now worked out and put in the healthy food your body needs to stay healthy. Now what? The rest of your day is dedicated to getting proper rest and recovery. Everyday you should get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep. This is really when your body makes it changes for the better. Get amble rest and fill your body with water and the right nutrition. This will help your journey on the way to a healthy lifestyle.
Stay motivated and keep up the good work! Stay tuned for more fitness tips and motivation!
